Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Basketball 9CatLab is operated by [LEGAL NAME] (ABN [ABN]) ("Basketball 9CatLab", "we", "us"), [BUSINESS ADDRESS], Queensland, Australia. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using basketball9catlab.com (the "Service"), you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
Basketball 9CatLab provides analysis tools for fantasy basketball, including standings views, waiver and trade evaluations, and weekly matchup planning. The Service gives suggestions only. You make every roster decision in your own fantasy league, and we never make changes to your league for you.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may use the Service from anywhere it is lawful to do so; you are responsible for following your local laws.
4. Your account
You sign in with your email and a password, or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your password, email and Google account secure and for activity under your Basketball 9CatLab account. Tell us at support@basketball9catlab.com if you think your account has been compromised. One account per person; do not share or resell access.
5. Connecting your Yahoo account
To use league features you can connect your Yahoo Fantasy account through Yahoo's official sign-in (OAuth). You authorize us to read your fantasy league data on your behalf, with read-only access. You can disconnect at any time from Settings or from your Yahoo account permissions. League data we receive from Yahoo is deleted within 24 hours. Your use of Yahoo remains subject to Yahoo's own terms. If Yahoo changes or ends API access, some features may stop working; see Section 12.
6. Free to use
Basketball 9CatLab is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will publish their terms before anyone is charged, and paid features will only start once you choose to subscribe.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy or resell the Service or its output in bulk; (b) reverse engineer or interfere with the Service or its security; (c) use bots or automated access except features we provide; (d) use the Service to break any law or any fantasy platform's rules; (e) upload harmful code; or (f) create accounts to abuse free trials.
8. Our content and licence
The Service, its software, design, rankings, projections and the Basketball 9CatLab name and logo belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own fantasy leagues while you follow these Terms.
9. Your content and feedback
Settings, custom stats and notes you enter stay yours; you give us permission to store and process them to run the Service. If you send ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
10. Not gambling or betting advice
Basketball 9CatLab is an analysis tool for season-long fantasy leagues. It is not a sportsbook or daily fantasy contest, and nothing on the Service is betting, financial or professional advice. Projections and recommendations are estimates based on public statistics and can be wrong. Use them at your own judgment.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as Yahoo, Google and our hosting providers. We are not responsible for their services, outages or terms. Basketball 9CatLab is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Yahoo Inc., the National Basketball Association (NBA), any NBA team, the National Basketball Players Association or any player. Yahoo and Yahoo Fantasy are trademarks of Yahoo Inc. NBA and NBA team names and logos are trademarks of NBA Properties, Inc. and the teams. Other names are used only to describe compatibility and the statistics we analyze.
12. Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable. If we permanently shut down a paid feature you have paid for, we will give a prorated refund for the unused part of your current paid period.
13. Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection law that applies to you and cannot be excluded. Sections 14 and 15 apply only to the extent the law allows.
14. No other promises
Apart from the guarantees in Section 13, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Projections and recommendations are estimates, and we do not promise that they are accurate or complete, that the Service will always be available, or that it will help you win any league.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost prizes, winnings, data or profits. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Otherwise, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or A$50 if you paid nothing.
16. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, please contact support@basketball9catlab.com first; most issues can be solved quickly, and we will respond within 14 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts that hear appeals from them. If you live outside Australia, you may also have the right to bring a claim where you live.
17. Misuse
If you misuse the Service or break these Terms and that causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you are responsible for the loss your misuse caused, to the extent the law allows.
18. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@basketball9catlab.com. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms. Sections 8 to 17 survive termination.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email you or show a notice in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
20. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us. If a part is unenforceable, it is read down or removed and the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them with a sale or reorganization of the business.
